A prestigious new 4 storey office block recently completed on the outskirts of Rotherham was built to house Horbury Estates group of companies. Architect designed, the external walls consisting of ashlar stone and white rendered blockwork also feature 15 metre high curtain wall facades to the main west and east elevations. Danum Windows were selected by the main contractor Millstone Building Ltd to manufacture and install the aluminium windows screens and doors all finished in a dark grey powder coating. Technal FXi46 polyamide casement windows with top hung open out vents were fitted in-situ into Technal MX visible grid curtain wall screens. Each screen included glazed ceramic "look-a-like" banded panels to full width to every floor level. Technal CD commercial aluminium automatic double swing doors were installed to the main entrance. Double glazed units with low emissivity coating and argon gas filled cavity were used throughout with one leaf laminated and one leaf toughened to achieve a high standard of heat retention, security and safety.

All the double glazed units and "look-a-like" panels incorporated anti-sun blue glass to the outer leaf which has created a classic appearance to this new office block.
